It has not passed a month from the end of «Bike Odyssey 2014» and we began to envision and plan the next year's race in order to be the biggest mountain bike race ever made in Greece and among the largest worldwide.

Significant and valuable the presence of Barilla in "Bike Odyssey 2014" organization. The athletes had the opportunity to get the nutritional products of Gran Cereale to replenish the lost energy in all catering stations of the race.
Additionally, at each village-station after termination was taking place a pasta party with whole grain pasta and pure and tasty sauces that Barilla granted us, the largest pasta company worldwide.

We especially thank the Educational and Beneficial Association of Kastania - Trikala «ΤΗΕSTINOS» with Mr. Sotiris Dimitroulis as president, which stood at the side of organization of «Bike Odyssey», provided us with all the medals and cups of 1^st ETAP Laista-Kastania and honored us with their participation in the awarding of prizes to the athletes. Also it arranged to welcome the athletes by offering them traditional sweets and savory treats.

The terminating station of 6th ETAP changed at the last minute due to a technical problem, and as new village-station was chosen Gravia of Fokida.

From the first time we had next to us the Cultural Youth Association of Gravia, with Mr. Mananas John as president, which supported us by all means it had since local government was absent. Thus, the Association was present to welcome the athletes as they terminated and offered them local delicacies. Also, intervened and made sure to grant the organization of Bike Odyssey the indoor gym at school of Gravia in order to be used as accommodation for the athletes. Finally, they provided us with all the medals and cups of 6th ETAP Ath.Diakos-Gravia and made ​​us the honor to participate in the awarding of prizes to the athletes who had distinguished.

The curtain fell on «Bike Odyssey 2014» with great success, but nothing would be the same without the valuable help of Mahidra vehicles. Mahidra worked tirelessly and effectively 24hrs every day. In the morning were going with athletes in their difficult task to wild landscapes of Pindos being on alert if was necessary, carrying all the equipment of the organization from village-station to village-station, supplying catering stations with the necessary for the athletes and in the evening were beginning on a last control signaling for the next station.

Volunteer Search and Rescue Team of Mesolongi covered in health and rescue sector for second consecutive year the harder and challenging mountain bike race “Bike Odyssey 2014”. For eight days, from the start of the race on 22/06/2014 in Laista of Ioannina until the finish on 29.06.2014 in Amfiklia of Fthiotida, E.O.E.D tirelessly offered it’s services to both athletes and organizers in order to feel safe in the wild landscape of the mountains of Pindos.

For the overall presence of E.O.E.D. in the race, the organization would like to send a big “thank you” because it was one of the most important ingredients for the success of the match.

The companies "Sarkis K. Zelvegian" and "ZELVEGIAN BROS GP", dealing with the import and trading of spare parts and bicycle respectively, supported with every mean that possessed the organization of «Bike Odyssey 2014 ». Zelvegian's businesses represent large companies such as CST and MAXXIS tire companies, KOOLSTOP brake company and CUBE company with bicycles and cycling equipment.

Thus, "Sarkis K. Zelvegian" provided us apart from the products it sells, with a CST inflatable arch was at start and finish of each ETAP, one CST tent and one KOOLSTOP that housed the" Bike Odyssey" organization and also MAXXIS bags in which shared souvenirs to the athletes of 8-day and 3-day race.

The toughest mountain bike race in Greece, the «Bike Odyssey», was held for the second consecutive year from 22.06.2014 to 29.06.2014. The race took place in the mountain of Pindos starting from Laista of Ioannina to come in Amfiklia of Fthiotida, having crossed a total of 6 prefectures!
