In about five weeks, the unique experience of the greatest bicycling race in Greece, will begin, the Bike Odyssey 2018. For the 6th year in a row, the participant athletes will live an extraordinary experience while they cross the wild nature of the Pindos Mountains and also they will admire the beautiful landscapes of the route until the finishing line, in Nafpakto.
For another year the Volunteer Search and Rescue Team of Messolonghi will support and be there for the “Bike Odyssey 2018” race on 17th – 24th June.
One of the greatest, if not THE greatest, cycling events of Greece is up close. Bike Odyssey is almost at our doorstep, as only 52 days remain until the beginning of the race from the village of Smixi.
The Bike Odessey team is always there for your needs and wishes you a joyous Easter and happy holidays!
Bike Odyssey’s route has snow in its largest part, and a new strong snowfall is expected from tomorrow Tuesday 13.02.2018 until Thursday 15.02.2018 at the stations of Smixi, Metsovo, Neochori and Krikello.
So, the Bike Odyssey team takes a break from its work on the part of the route.
More than 200 athletes will take part in Bike Odyssey this year!
And this year there will be some changes in the route or even the stations of the race but they will be announced in March.
