For yet another year the Volunteer Search and Rescue Team of Messolonghi will stand by Bike Odyssey by providing their services from 15th to 23rd June 2019.
The help of E.O.E.D. is very important, since it provides us with security and immediate help to all athletes, if needed. Its actual field of work is the area of Civil Protection as well as giving assistance in case of emergencies such as an earthquake. Additionaly, E.O.E.D. contributes to the area of Research and Rescue.
During “Bike Odyssey 2019” a group of 15 to 20 people from E.O.E.D. will be present throughout the route of each and every stage, as well as at the most dangerous parts of the race, so that they may offer not just their services but also an atmosphere of safety during the race.
