Green Devils Team comes from Italy and consists of two strong and experienced athletes, Emanuele Iannarilli and Vanni Balboni.
Emanuele Iannarilli (ITALY) started on mtb in 2007 after a bad injury on the snowboard in 2005. As he mentions, "Starting to recover my knee after three operation I felt the call of nature, air, and long run". So he bought a new bike soon and started racing action with his first and only team, Green Devils Team.
It's has a long story, almost 30 years with mtb team, road team and Dh team. He switched soon from short race to Marathon and Endurance, winning Endurance tour in Italy in 2011 . At that time he also opened his internet site, vaiforterischiaforte.com, posting his activities, events, and adventures. Eventually, he felt the call of stage races and 24 hours races. He likes to overcome limits, trying to have new objectives. In 2013 he took part in Tunisia Desert Bike finishing second and Rally di Romagna, in 19 place. He also competed in 3 "24 hours" finishing always near the podium of category and in ten of overall.
Why Bike Odyssey? He answers: "Because my friends are crazier than me and after the invite of my teammate Vanni Balboni, something start to think about race as a challenge, as a big wall to overtake."
Emanuele Iannarilli is also a reporter of pianetamountainbike.it , one of the most important italian internet magazines. He plans to write a daily report at the end of each stage - "I only hope I'll be able to be alive and able to do it!", he commented humorously!

Vanni Balboni (ITALY) engages in Mountain Bike at national and international level for many years. His pure passion for Mountain Bike, is affiliated with a company in Bologna, "ASD GREEN DEVILS TEAM" .
During the last years he has had a series of good results :
In 2005 he participated in the UCI Marathon World Cup . He also participated in many international competitions getting good results. In the year 2008, he participated and won the stage race Ironbike ( www.ironbike.it ), considered probably the hardest race in the world with its seven daily stages from ten hours each. In 2012 he finished second to the circuit of the National Federation (MARATHON TOUR) which included 8 Marathon the Longer and harderst in Italy, from Sicily to the Alps. In October of 2012 he participated in the International UCI stage race in Malaysia ( LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL MOUNTAIN CHALLENGE ) finishing in fifth place . The 2013 season he sets the two long and hard stage races in Canada (BC BIKE RACE) and South Africa ( OLD MUTUAL joberg2c ). In South Africa, he competed in pairs with a South African athlete who retired after six stages, leaving him alone. As he points out: "We missed the 'opportunity to finish the race in the top ten tem. I concluded with a fifth place ONLY. In Canada I managed to get fifteenth place. I am very interested to participate in your race."
