A few minutes after crossing the 3^rd checkpoint a momentous plot twist occurred.

Team Night Riders (Kouprizas-Evaggeliou) lost the lead due to flat tyres. First general position is now held by Konstantinos Papanikolaou and Grigoris Kalogeropoulos (Pedal Force One).

Kouprizas-Evaggeliou maintain the 1^st position in the 3-Days North and 2^nd overall, closely followed by Papasavvas-Chrysafellis (Dynamic) and Petridis-Drougias (Protect Aoos Animal Rights).
